When you sign up for lessons, you are scheduling a regular weekly time - every Tuesday at 2:30, for example. Monthly tuition fees reserve your time in the teacher’s schedule. There are no fee adjustments for missed lessons, but if you give advance notice, it is usually possible to reschedule a lesson that you cannot attend.
Lessons continue year-round, including summer. Students do better with greater continuity, and summer can be a great time for special projects like composition and ensemble pieces. Scheduling can be more flexible when school is not in session, and I always do my best to make up for lessons missed due to students’ vacations.Download full PDF of lesson policies: here.
